Tired today. Also lot of, ahem, stuff moving through me that was pretty stinky. Maybe I hit a point where stuff is clearing outta my bowl? Anyway 3 times to the bathroom with not so nice stuff coming out.
BK: Rice milk w/ muesli walnuts and pear. Didn't want to be hungry again today!
Lunch: Shoveled some nuts into my face and had an energy chocolate
Dinner: Went out to eat at my favorite italian place and was SO good. Ate delicious white fish w/ potatoes and broccoli. Passed on all the yummy but not on the diet food. May have had a tiny bit of cheese since I finished Nils' 2 chicken meatballs which may have had some cheese in them. Still no bread, no yummy pasts. I felt proud of myself!
Dessert: Mmmmm watermelon and strawberry sorbet. I love you vitamix!

Day 11: Eating with my friend is easy
My visiting friend eats so well that I'm having even more salad than usual. 3 servings of salad and I used these awesome brown rice tortilla's I found at TJ's. Tuna with olive oil and mustard. It was tasty enough. Not my favorite, but decent enough to do again. The tortilla was fab! No mayo w/ tuna is a travesty.
BK: Juice plus the aforementioned brown rice tortilla
Lunch: SALAD. Lots of it.
Snack: Pecans w/ pears, plums, and honey
Dinner: Salad again w/ chicken

Day 10: Woot Day 10!

Feeling pretty good about this cleanse. Except for the lack of protein I'm doing well. I'm trying to prepare myself for 4 weeks of fish and nuts as protein. I like fish I just suck at cooking it. My friend who is an amazing cook come into town today so here's to hoping that she can help me learn to cook fish better. Sushi - now I'm getting good at that! Made my own sushi bowl and rolls today with Ahi Tuna, Avocado, brown rice, radish sprouts, and my handy dandy vita mix. It was sooooo good. I'm going to keep trying to improve on it. Maybe rolls tomorrow?
BK: Juice. You know the drill a bunch of stuff blended.
Snack: Apples, honey, walnuts
Lunch: Sushi bowl and rolls!
Dinner: HUGE salad w/ chicken walnuts and apples.

Day 9: TOM nearly done!

TOM is slowing and I have a bit more energy, but I gotta say my training session today was pretty pathetic. I was having trouble breathing and my energy wasn't as good as usual. I really think the lack of meat protein on this cleanse is kicking my butt. Still, more energy than the previous week!
BK: Something more substantial since I was hungry. Rice milk w/ fruit and muesli.
Lunch: sushi! I sprang for some sushi at How's market. Also am thinking about trying to make my own.
Dinner: Stir fry with chicken and Soba noodles. Big salad too w/ apples and walnuts.
Dessert: Haven't been having dessert too often, but wanted honey and apples so I ate them.
Craving apples. I had like 3 today. Strange since I'm not usually an apple person. But I'm craving them so I'm eating them.

Day 8: Feeling fiesty
Energy was up today and I didn't feel as down. I've had more energy so that's good. Food is still going well. I'm not the best at remembering my water or my pills if I'm working long days like this weekend.
BK was a juice as usual the same thing I've been having. YUM!
Lunch: part of a salad. worked through the day so was happy to throw it down my gullet at all.
Dinner: Since I was so hungry I think I ate too much. I felt full which I haven't been since starting the cleanse.
Soba Noodles w/ olive oil and salt
Broccoli grilled with garlic and olive oil
Rice milk w/ muesli and a nectarine

Day 7: End of Week One
So week one is over and this hasn't been too hard. Am I perfect - nope. Am I sticking to the rules - yes. I even went to a party and didn't cheat. Didn't even want to. Pizza and chocolate etc. But since putting fruit into my diet I am not craving crap. Seems weird.
Am planning meals this week with fish for me - as soon as I finish eating the chicken I made! I made a batch of chicken a few days ago and am not getting through it very fast. So this week Nils and I need to have chicken as a main course a few times.
I had a light client load and a busy personal one. I was supposed to lunch with a friend but she bailed so I took myself out to sushi. The cheap sushi from the grocery store....well cheap for sushi. I loved every bite! They even made me spicy tuna with no mayo! So I had 2 decadent rolls with brown rice, nori, and avocado. It was heaven. $16 of heaven. I am watching my budget hard core, but the sushi...called.
I'm worried my man who is doing this cleanse with me isn't eating enough calories. He doesn't need to lose weight. I want him to just cleanse. So I need to make sure I make him more food to eat. Also, he's having trouble sticking with the rules. Let's hope the second week goes better. He's done really well actually. I haven't a clue what I fed him on Fri that made him so gasy, but DUDE whatever it was I need to NOT do it again. Stir fried rice or soy milk. That's all he ate!
Was a bit decadent the entire day with my food. Will be better tomorrow.
BK: Juice the usual.
lunch: 2 spicy tuna rolls
snack: apples w/ walnuts and brown rice syrup for dipping
snack: smoothie w/ blueberry juice base, strawberries, melon, cabbage, agave, stevia, nectarine, carrot, kale, beet
snack at party: small salad no dressing.
Dinner: Leftover fried rice (and there's still more!) from Sat, 1.5 pieces of whole wheat bread with olive oil and salt.
Dessert: 1/2 cup musli in 1/4 cup of oat milk w/ a nectarine and stevia
I think I got too hungry today and that's why I ate so much carby food. Gotta watch that!
