So week one is over and this hasn't been too hard. Am I perfect - nope. Am I sticking to the rules - yes. I even went to a party and didn't cheat. Didn't even want to. Pizza and chocolate etc. But since putting fruit into my diet I am not craving crap. Seems weird.
Am planning meals this week with fish for me - as soon as I finish eating the chicken I made! I made a batch of chicken a few days ago and am not getting through it very fast. So this week Nils and I need to have chicken as a main course a few times.
I had a light client load and a busy personal one. I was supposed to lunch with a friend but she bailed so I took myself out to sushi. The cheap sushi from the grocery store....well cheap for sushi. I loved every bite! They even made me spicy tuna with no mayo! So I had 2 decadent rolls with brown rice, nori, and avocado. It was heaven. $16 of heaven. I am watching my budget hard core, but the sushi...called.
I'm worried my man who is doing this cleanse with me isn't eating enough calories. He doesn't need to lose weight. I want him to just cleanse. So I need to make sure I make him more food to eat. Also, he's having trouble sticking with the rules. Let's hope the second week goes better. He's done really well actually. I haven't a clue what I fed him on Fri that made him so gasy, but DUDE whatever it was I need to NOT do it again. Stir fried rice or soy milk. That's all he ate!
Was a bit decadent the entire day with my food. Will be better tomorrow.
BK: Juice the usual.
lunch: 2 spicy tuna rolls
snack: apples w/ walnuts and brown rice syrup for dipping
snack: smoothie w/ blueberry juice base, strawberries, melon, cabbage, agave, stevia, nectarine, carrot, kale, beet
snack at party: small salad no dressing.
Dinner: Leftover fried rice (and there's still more!) from Sat, 1.5 pieces of whole wheat bread with olive oil and salt.
Dessert: 1/2 cup musli in 1/4 cup of oat milk w/ a nectarine and stevia
I think I got too hungry today and that's why I ate so much carby food. Gotta watch that!
